  Do you agree that a person should never make an important decision alone

When it comes to the question of whether a person should make an important decision by himself or herself, different people might have different answers to this question. In my view, I think that we should give different answers according to different situations and different decisions. The reasons why I think so go as follows.         

It is a fact that we had better get some advice from someone else because we can borrow their experiences and knowledge. For example, when we want to know which university we should attend and which field we should major in, we had better talk to our parents, our friends who are working in the field and our teachers who have the experiences, because we have enough time to consider our decision. After we got the advice, normally, we could make a better decision than without talking to them. So, I agree that whenever time is allowed, it is better for us to talk to other people before we make an important decision.         

On the other hand, when time is limited and we need to make the decision, no matter what happens, we should make the important decision ourselves. For example, a medical operation is in progress, the doctor can not stop to talk to his colleagues and must make the decision right away. Of course, the decision is very important since it is related to the lives of the patients. Another example I want to show is that all students must make all decisions by themselves while they are taking exam. As you know, each decision is important to the students because each decision will influence their final marks. From this point and in this kind of must situations, we need to make the decision alone.         

In summary, based on what I discussed above, I can't just give a yes or no answer to the question in this writing task. We should analyze the situation first and then we could give a right answer to it.
